Refund policy
We hope you love your purchase, but we understand that sometimes things just don't work out.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please know that we offer a simple and transparent returns process.
Article 1 – Right of Withdrawal
- When purchasing products, the consumer has the right to cancel the agreement without providing any reason within fourteen days. This period begins the day after the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer (other than the carrier) receives the product.

During this period, the consumer must handle the product and its packaging with care. The product should only be unpacked or used to the extent necessary to assess whether they wish to keep the product. If the consumer exercises their right of withdrawal, they must return the product, including all supplied accessories and, where reasonably possible, in its original condition and packaging, according to the reasonable and clear instructions provided by the entrepreneur.
Article 2 – Costs in the Event of Withdrawal
- If the consumer exercises their right of withdrawal, the cost of returning the product will be borne by the consumer.
- The entrepreneur will refund all payments received from the consumer, excluding the delivery costs, promptly and in any case within 14 days from the day the entrepreneur is informed of the consumer's decision to withdraw from the agreement.
- The entrepreneur will make the refund using the same payment method that was used by the consumer for the original transaction, unless the consumer has expressly agreed to a different payment method, and on the condition that the consumer does not incur any costs due to such a refund.
- Additional costs due to the consumer’s express choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by the entrepreneur will not be reimbursed by the entrepreneur.

Unless the entrepreneur has offered to collect the goods themselves, the entrepreneur may wait with the refund until all goods have been received back. Damage or loss of the package during the return shipment is the responsibility of the consumer.
Article 3 – Returning Items in the Event of Withdrawal
To return an item, please send an email to hello@raincap.be, including your order number. You can then choose to return the package via regular mail (without tracking) or using a shipping label with tracking.
Article 4 – Returning Damaged or Defective Items or Incorrectly Received Items
If your item is damaged or defective, or if you received an incorrect item, RAINCAP will cover the shipping costs for returning the item.
In the case of damaged or defective items: report these items via hello@raincap.be. Include your name, customer number, order number, and the item number(s). Please attach photos of the damage.
We will assess your complaint within 5 business days. If we approve the return, you will receive an email with return instructions and a return label. You can print this label after purchase, attach it to the package, and drop it off at a Bpost location.
Upon receiving your return, we will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the returned item. Please note that refunds will be made via the same payment method (e.g., online banking or credit card) you used when placing your order.
